Concrete Polishing
There are four types of polished concrete / superfloor specification that we can produce, platinium, gold, silver and bronze. Each one of the specifications provide a variety of finishes from high gloss through to matt, with either heavily exposed aggregate or lightly exposed aggregate.
The process consists of up to seven stages of grinding, refinement, impregnation and mechanical polishing. This really is concrete engineered the way you want it.
Think concrete!!! And you will think dull, boring and functional and the first thing that you will consider is how to cover it up and in these modern times we are spoilt for choice, weather to use carpet, vinyl,resins or paint coatings etc all of which either require chemical adhessives and screeds or chemical process to manafacture. A concrete polished/HTC Superfloor™ uses neither and its creation is entirely eco friendly.
The process of creating a concrete polished floor not only provides an extremely aesthetically pleasing surface but has also been proven to have excellent anti-static properties and complies with the ss-en 61340-5-1 standard, with all test results falling within the range for the American ansi/end standard.
In the main the cost for producing a concrete polished floor is substantially lower than installing many types of floor coverings which will degenerate or wear over a period of time.
A concrete polished/ HTC Superfloor™ is extremely hard wearing, does not scratch through general trafficking and requires only minimal maintenance. It is extremely easy to clean requiring at worse the use of a scrubber dryer, stone soap and water. In addition we recommend that the htc twister system is used as the pads maintain the high gloss finish indefinitely.
